Your coursework is marked!!!
Good Morning group
I've marked the coursework and am confident that you have done well. However, some evaluations are not finished. This must be done ASAP. I will look again after work tomorrow and simply mark what is there.
See you in the lesson for exam work.

The screening
Mr Bunce and I were dead impressed with your trailers and how the audience responded. We thought they looked great on the big screen. One or two problems to iron out. Here's what I thought about each one.
Charlie- A good combination of shots and editing. The sound quality was good too. Good use of mise en scene. Overall very successful work.
Hannah and Charlotte- Good cinematography and narrative. The sound levels are uneven and some of the transitions didn't work on the big sceen. Can you change this?
Max and Callie- Excellent in all areas, especially mise en scene and editing. Janny is obviously a top rate director!!
Ollie/Ross- Fab use of sound - both diegetic and non diegetic. Excellent cinematography and effective editing gives the trailer an edgy feel. Good titles too. Add BBFC certificate and fade out at the end.
Nat/ Max- Very exciting work. The sound makes your trailer- it is very well editied and uses conventions successfully. BBFC rate card at beginning. Excellent use of colour.
Keefer- Excellent cinematopraphy and editing. The sound levels are a bit low at the beginning. Good sense of narrative. Great work.
Eva/Sarah- a great idea with good narrative. Your sound lets you down. Can you get this ironed out? The end also cuts off too soon. If you sort these it will be great.

Evaluation questions- there are 4
You need to answer the 4 questions and present them on your blog.
'In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?'
'How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
'What have you learned from your audience feedback?
'How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?'
The Getahead OCR Blog has suggestions and good examples of how to do these questions

You should also do a post showing how your trailer is typical of a multi-modal text. Remember your notes from the theory lessons!

I've looked at everyone's blog again. Try to use lots of visuals. You should be finishing your trailers and posters etc in the next 2 weeks!
Research poster sizes for the UK and the US - which sizes would you use and where for your distribution.
Some fab work from most of you!!
